Long time, no blog

I know that I have been slacking on my blogging, but life has a way of taking up ones time. We are still running almost every night with distances ranging from 2 to 2.6 miles. All of our times are right at the 20 minute mark or below, depending on how we feel on that evening. One thing that I have started noticing is that as the temps have started to get cooler, the times are getting faster.

Chris and I have only put in 2 5k runs so far this summer. I am hoping that we can add to that before it gets cold and there aren't as many runs to choose from. He is also very busy with being a good parent and coaching his girls in there sporting activities. So that ties up some of his weekends.

I need to get back in the habit of putting in some longer runs on the weekend. A couple of weeks ago Chris and I put in a little over 5 miles on a Friday and it felt pretty good. I know that I have until April before it really matters, but I would like to increase my mileage. Who knows, I may run a full marathon some day.
